Classical Wiener waltz, composer: Dmitri Shostakovich
I only digitized the first two movements. After that, it turns into a real Wiener waltz with lots of other parts. As a folk musician, I find a tune in two or three parts more than enough...
At tango dance evenings, they often play this tune as an intermezzo to allow (or force) the dancers to swich partners. After the two first parts, the disc-jockey fades it out and continues with tangos as usual, assuming that those couples that wanted to switch partners have done so.
From the EC point of view, it's a nice slow waltz; there are 3 flats (we used to call them 'bottles') however.
